Returns & Cancellation Policy for Farman Traders

At Farman Traders, we strive for complete customer satisfaction with every grain of rice we distribute. However, due to the perishable and consumable nature of our products, our policies are crafted to ensure food safety and quality control while protecting the interests of our global clientele.

Order Cancellation

We understand that plans can change. You may request to cancel your order at any time before it has been processed for shipment. To initiate a cancellation, please contact our support team immediately with your order number. Once an order has entered the processing or packaging phase—typically within 24 hours of placement—it can no longer be cancelled. For international shipments, once the export documentation has been filed and the goods have been handed to the carrier, the sale is considered final and cannot be retracted.

Eligibility for Returns

Because rice is a food product, we generally do not accept returns once the packaging has been opened or the product has been delivered in good condition. This is a necessary measure to ensure the health and safety of all our customers. Returns are only considered in the rare event that the product arrives damaged, is incorrectly fulfilled, or does not meet the quality specifications agreed upon at the time of sale. If you receive a shipment that is visibly damaged or contains the wrong variety of rice, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery, providing photographic evidence of the issue.

Refund Process and Conditions

Upon receiving a valid claim for a damaged or incorrect order, our team will conduct a thorough review. If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your original method of payment or offer a replacement shipment at our expense. Please note that shipping costs for the original delivery are non-refundable. For international orders, we are unable to refund any customs duties or import taxes paid to your local government, as these are handled by third-party authorities. Refunds may take several business days to process depending on your financial institution’s policies.

Non-Returnable Situations

We cannot accept returns or offer refunds based on personal taste preferences or for products that have been stored improperly after delivery. Rice should be kept in a cool, dry place away from moisture and pests; Farman Traders is not responsible for the deterioration of product quality due to inadequate storage conditions once the shipment is in your possession. Additionally, any items returned to us without prior authorization will not be eligible for a refund.
